Please note: On the 16th February 2010 I shall be returning to the UK and will therefore no longer be able to provide classes in Mexico City. I will, however, maintain contacts with native English speaking teachers in DF and can pass your details on to them should you wish to start an English course. Please send me your details using the Contact page.
I provide English courses in the Distrito Federal to business men and women in their place of work. I can travel to your company for early morning classes before you begin work, in the afternoon during your lunch break or in the evening after you have finished work. The courses I provide will depend on your current level and your tuition requirements, and I have a range of course books to choose from.
Different students have different requirements. Some are studying for a specific qualification and require extra tuition to help them achieve the results they want. Other students simply want to improve their fluency, whilst yet other students need to learn specific terminology and language use relevant to their vocation. For example, students who are employed in the banking sector, travel or the airline industry.
Whatever your requirements I am confident I can assist you in developing your language skills. For me details, please contact me using the form on the Contact page of this site. Below are the terms, conditions and fees that apply to courses I provide. These terms do not apply to other teachers that may find through me or this site.
I charge a basic hourly rate of 200 pesos per hour for a 90 minute class in the south of Distrito Federal. An extra 50 pesos per hour is charged for 60 minute classes, and additional fees may be charged for classes that are more than 60 minutes from my home. All class materials (course books, photocopies, etc) are paid for by the student.
It is an inevitable fact of life that students will sometimes need to cancel classes due to work commitments. Two cancellations are permitted each calendar month, without charge. Further cancellations may be charged. Students should cancel classes as early as possible. Classes that are canceled less than two hours before the class is due to begin will be charged.
All classes are canceled on public holidays, plus two weeks over Christmas and Easter (as specified in the Calendar). These cancellations do not count towards the allowable cancellations. In other words, should a class fall on a public holiday, students may miss three classes that month without charge.
